Tractor Launches in El Paso, Texas!

GetPlowedBlog

Tractor Brewing Company and L&F Distributors are excited to announce a new partnership, and the launch of Tractor Brewing’s easy-drinking craft beers and ciders in El Paso Texas! Entry into Texas marks the first distribution outside of New Mexico since the brewery expansion and relocation in 2014. The El Paso market will enjoy draft and packaged classic selections as well as draft-exclusive seasonals that appeal to the craft base in the area. The official roll out is scheduled for the first week of June and will include various events.

“David and I both grew up in Texas, so it seemed like a logical next step for us,” said Skye Devore, co-owner and president of Tractor Brewing Company. “After looking at what is available and doing well in the market, we thought that our easy-drinking and accessible portfolio was a natural fit.” Representatives of the brewery attended the Sun City Craft Beer Festival on April 29, 2017 and saw a positive response.

The partnership with L&F Distributors is a continuation of an existing relationship with the distributor’s Roswell New Mexico branch. “L&F has done very well for us in southeastern New Mexico. After visiting the El Paso market and seeing their relationships with retailers in the area it was an easy choice. They have a dominant presence in El Paso and have a similar vision for our brand,” commented David Hargis, co-owner and brew master of Tractor Brewing Company. Sam Peifer, Brand Development Manager for Tractor Brewing Company, will oversee the expansion into the El Paso area.

The brewery produces a core offering of easy-drinking, accessible beers and ciders. Initial offerings in the El Paso area include:

Milk Mustachio Stout: Let your taste buds embrace this farm fresh twist on a traditional stout. Sweet milk sugar added to this brew blends with rich flavors of chocolate and roasted coffee which can only be described as creamy and delicious. ABV 5.1, IBU 26, 12oz cans and draft.

Farmer’s Tan Red Ale: Big, rich and malty, was designed to bring forward bold candy flavors that mingle with slight notes of earthy hops. Pour yourself one of these deep amber ales and let your senses enjoy the aroma of toasted caramel malt that finishes slightly sweet and unbelievably delicious. ABV 6.0, IBU 31, 16oz cans and draft.

New Mexican Lager: Somewhere between brazenly bold and enchantingly sweet, this New Mexican Lager is neither American nor Mexican. This crisp brew has a lacy white head and delightful golden hue to match the sunny state it homages. Well-balanced, deceptively complex, yet simple in finish; this is a lager you enjoy in any of the 4 gentle Zia seasons. Beban Profundamente Amigos! ABV 5.3, IBU 23, 16oz cans and draft.

India Pale Ale: It’s all about the balance with this brilliant golden IPA. Pours with a frothy white head that is accompanied by a pleasant hop aroma, which has hints of pine and fresh lemon. An excellent blend of northwestern hops and a touch of biscuit malt give Almanac IPA a refined bitter finish, which is dry, refreshing, and very easy to drink. ABV 6.2, IBU 78, draft only.

Hay Maker Honey Wheat: A light, honey colored wheat ale made with local New Mexico honey. This crisp beer strikes of honey followed by a slightly hoppy aftertaste. Make hay while the sun shines. Drink a Hay Maker anytime. ABV 6.0, IBU 11, draft only.

Delicious Red Hard Apple Cider: Synchronized flavors and carbonation cultivate the palate without the effect of tongue fatigue. Whether sitting, standing, hitching or pulling, this toe tapping cider won’t wear wobbly. Some secrets of its stamina are known, more become apparent when you see and try it for yourself. Even if you’ve been drinking ciders for as long as we have, there’s a fresh new thrill waiting for you. It is tastier, smoother, more golden in color, and more flavorful than anything else in its class. It’s good to the core! Winner of GLINTCAP Silver Medal in the Sweet Cider category 2017. ABV 6.9, Semi-Sweet, 16oz cans and draft.

Berry Cider: We start with the juice from the same apples we use for our Hard Apple Cider and add a hundred pounds of fresh berries. Blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries in this favorite cider and a tart berry flavor that is refreshing and crisp. Our berry cider usually packs a punch, but is deceivingly light in body and taste. We serve it in a 12oz goblet so you can appreciate the fresh berry and apple aroma and the beautiful color. Perfect on a summer day and a great alternative to our fantastic beer varieties. ABV 5.9, Semi-Sweet, draft only.
