Tractor Brewing Company has joined forces with the 14th Annual Pork & Brew to bring a limited release run of the popular Big Sipper Session IPA to 16oz cans! The cans will feature the Pork & Brew logo and will launch at Tractor Brewing Company’s Wells Park location (1800 4th Street NW) during ABQ Beer Week on May 25th with music by The Silver String Band. Tickets will also be available for the July event at a discount.
“We have worked closely with the Pork & Brew organization for several years now,” said Sam Peifer, Brand Development Manager for Tractor Brewing Company. “This partnership strengthens that relationship and allows us to offer a new canned beer to people. Big Sipper is a beer that we get constant requests for in cans.” Big Sipper Session IPA Cans will be available at Tractor’s Wells Park Brewery, Nob Hill Tap Room and through Premier Distributing Company .
Big Sipper Session IPA (ABV 5.8, IBU 71) is copper in color, and kissed with an aroma of citrus & pine. The Big Sipper packs a punch to your palate thanks to its Simcoe hops, and provides a good finish courtesy of the Citra and Chinook hops included in the brew. It is the first seasonal craft beer to be offered in limited release by Tractor Brewing Company.
The 14th Annual Pork & Brew will be hosted by the Santa Ana Star Center July 1-3. Bringing together the best barbecue vendors from around the region, this three-day festival featuring BBQ, beer, live music and interactive family activities will be one of the biggest events of the summer. Tractor Brewing Company will also participate in the craft beer portion of the events. Galloping Grace Youth Ranch will be returning to the event, showcasing a petting zoo and pig races throughout the weekend.

The 14th Annual Pork & Brew, hosted by the Rio Rancho Convention and Visitors Bureau, will feature an indoor/outdoor format, ensuring the 15,000 expected attendees can enjoy all the festival has to offer rain or shine. This is quite possibly the best way to spend your 4th of July weekend this summer in New Mexico. Between chomps of fantastic BBQ, you can check out local arts and crafts, burn off some calories by dancing to live music and even take the kids for a face painting and a few trips through the bouncy houses.
