Melissa Rios is a singer/songwriter and music teacher from Las Cruces. She moved to Albuquerque in 2009 and graduated from UNM in May 2014 with her BA in Music and has been teaching classical guitar, voice, and songwriting at the New Mexico School of Music since January 2013.

Having played the guitar for 16 years, and having already had 13 years of performing experience, Melissa is a natural talent, and versatile to boot! She’s had songs featured on various compilations CDs, gaining experience in recording and mixing.
