How did you artist career begin?
Shortly after I watched the movie Titanic. It started when I was small. All that I wanted to do was draw. A big imagination.
Give me 3 words that describe your art as folks witness it today?
Whimsical, traditional, stylized.
How has your art evolved?
I have changed from strictly realistic to a more stylized rendering when I paint.
Where do you think your art will take you?
I want to be freelance working for myself. Id like my work to be recognized once you see it.
Who is an inspiration for your work?
Im a huge Michelangelo fan but I also like Tim Burton.
What is the goal when you set out to create?
Im trained as an Illustrator so my job is to tell a story or convey a message. I take a subject and tweak it to make it my own.
If you could give young artists a piece of advice, what would it be?
Practice, establish a style and run with it.
What is next for you in your career?
Id like to be making my own children’s books in the next year.
