I’ll Drink To That Turns 2 At Tractor!

GetPlowedBlog

It’s been a wild ride, y’all – can you believe it? I’ll Drink To That, one of Burque’s best variety shows is turning two years old! WOW! The 24th showcoming, April 27th to Tractor Wells Park, on 1800 4th Street. IDTT is continuing to bring the mayhem with a message and point. This month’s installment is in partnership with Archetype Dermigraphic Tattoo Studio/Gallery.

This partnership between IDTT and Archetype Dermigraphic’s owners: Jespah Torres and Ben Shaw is to benefit the community around us. Also the spearheads for G.E.T: Guild of Ethical Tattooists, Ben and Jespah are reaching out to the community and collecting art supplies starting NOW – and up until April 27th, to benefit Warehouse 508’s “Art Expression Sessions.”

Between today and April 27th, stop in at Archetype Dermigraphic: 529 Adams St. NE – Lomas and Adams – and donate art supplies. When you donate art supplies you will be given tickets that will enter you into the drawing for live art that will happen at the IDTT event on April 27th. Sound like a plan? Donate art supplies for kids, possibly win some amazing art of your own! Sounds good to me.

The April 27th event at Tractor will feature Denver heavyweight, Nuyorican Poetry Slam Champion and author of his most recent book of poetry “Coyotes”: Ken Arkind. Joining us on the stage will also be the amazing and talented electric violinist Robb Janov. Archetype’s artists will be slingin’ paint – and I, Carlos Contreras will host; more acts will be announced as we approach the event.
