Dark chocolate color and a crisp light tan head compliment the malty, vanilla chocolate aroma that you will notice immediately. The beginning notes of vanilla transition to chocolate cocoa notes & a roasted malty finish. This stout is brewed with a variety of dark malts and lactose sugar which is added at the end of the brewing process. Whole cocoa nibs are added to the fermenter at the end of fermentation & the beer is allowed to age on the nibs for 10 days, to pick up the dark chocolate character.
